Conference Information

The New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department – Alcoholic Beverage Control Division is pleased to welcome NCSLA members and guests to the 2026 C/W Regional Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Renowned for its rich cultural heritage, distinctive adobe architecture, breathtaking mountain landscapes, and vibrant arts community, Santa Fe provides an inspiring setting for this year's conference. Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to the City Different, we hope you'll take time to experience its renowned galleries, historic Plaza, exceptional cuisine, and timeless Southwestern charm.

As we gather under the theme "The Spirit of Enchantment: Perspectives on Alcohol Policy, Practice, and the Marketplace," we'll explore emerging issues shaping alcohol regulation, examine the evolving marketplace, and consider the unique opportunities and challenges facing regulators throughout the Central and Western regions, including discussions surrounding tribal regulation and other issues of regional importance.

We look forward to welcoming you this October and sharing the hospitality, culture, and spirit of New Mexico.

Discover Santa Fe

Located just north of Santa Fe in the sovereign Native American land, Pueblo of Pojoaque, the conference offers attendees the opportunity to experience both the rich cultural heritage of one of New Mexico's historic Tribal communities and the timeless beauty of the Southwest. Surrounded by dramatic high-desert landscapes and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the area provides a memorable setting for this year's C/W Regional Conference.

Just a short drive away, Santa Fe—the nation's oldest state capital and affectionately known as "The City Different"—is celebrated for its distinctive adobe architecture, thriving arts community, historic landmarks, and renowned Southwestern cuisine. Whether you're exploring the historic Santa Fe Plaza, browsing the galleries of Canyon Road, or enjoying authentic New Mexican flavors, the city offers countless opportunities to experience its unique blend of Native American, Hispanic, and Anglo cultures.

While you're here, we also encourage you to discover the rich traditions of the Pueblo of Pojoaque, whose history and culture remain an integral part of northern New Mexico. From local art and cultural experiences to the natural beauty surrounding the Pueblo, the area offers a meaningful glimpse into the heritage that has shaped the region for centuries.

October is an ideal time to experience northern New Mexico. With comfortable daytime temperatures in the low 60s and crisp evenings in the mid-30s, we recommend bringing a few layers for changing conditions. The vibrant fall colors of the aspens and cottonwoods create spectacular scenery, making it a wonderful time to enjoy the region's hiking trails, scenic drives, or a chairlift ride at Ski Santa Fe.
